We’re one week away from our registration deadline!
Registration for the House league, grades 1-8 closes November 1st.
Every year we receive numerous requests AFTER the deadline- once teams are formed and practice slots are secured. It can be difficult to manage these late requests so please register by the deadline. If you can't register by November 1st, please reach out so we can figure something out.

COACHES NEEDED AT ALL LEVELS!
Parents or guardians who volunteer with PGBL have a unique opportunity- to bond with your player in a new way or to closely watch them set and work hard toward a new goal. PGBL volunteer coaches each bring something different to the table and have the opportunity to help young athletes have fun, play hard and be their best selves on and off the court. With plenty of support from the PGBL board, all coaches will be supplied with practice time and space, basketballs, a first aid kit and resources to help review or teach basic skills to our athletes for a successful season. Thanks to those who have volunteered to coach so far- we’ll be reaching out shortly! If you’re interested in coaching or want to know more please email PGBLhoops@gmail.com.
WHAT'S NEXT?
Evaluation Clinics at PCIS- in order to make the House league teams equally competitive we’re holding evaluation clinics to get to know our players and place them on a team that makes sense. Here are the dates:
· Monday, 11/13; 7-9pm for grades 6, 7 and 8
· Tuesday, 11/14; 5-6pm for grades 3 & 4, 6-7pm for grades 5 & 6, 7-8pm for grades 7 & 8
· Friday, 11/17; 7-9pm for grades 3-8
**Please attend as many evaluation clinics as you can. If unable to make any, please email pgblhoops@gmail.com**
Once registration closes and evaluation clinics are complete, we will start to put the teams together and assign coaches. The goal is for everyone to know their team, coach and practice slot before Thanksgiving. Practices begin the week of Nov. 27th. The first games will be the following week for grades 3-8.
I encourage everyone to stay up to date with all the latest news and developments by regularly visiting the PGBL WEBSITE or by liking us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/pgblhoops or following us on Instagram - @pgblhoops
Sincerely,
James Anderson & the PGBL Board
