Plymouth Girls Basketball League

The Plymouth Girls Basketball League (PGBL)  is proud of being the only all girls basketball program in Plymouth. Our league provides an environment for girls to develop lifelong skills with the emphasis on having fun. The league is open to girls in grades 1-8.

**Travel Team Tryouts**

Tryouts are next week! Please try to attend all dates for your grade. Email if you can't make your allotted time listed below. All sessions will be held at PCIS.


Monday, September 25th

○       7:00-9:00 - 7th and 8th grades

Tuesday, September 26th

○       6:00-7:00 - 4th grade

○       7:00-8:00 - 5th grade

○       8:00-9:00 - 7th grade

Friday, September 29th

○       7:00-8:00 - 6th grade


For anyone new to Travel basketball: it is a competitive league for girls that are generally higher-skilled, and more passionate about basketball. The time commitment is greater than the regular House league divisions. You can find more details on the Travel section of the PGBL website.

Travel Coaches: PGBL has an open interview process for Travel Coach Positions. If you are interested in interviewing for any of our Travel teams (A current opening exists for the 8th grade travel team), please contact Blake Tirlia ( to arrange an interview.



Registration is open for the upcoming winter basketball season that runs from December into March! Registration will remain open until November 1, 2023.

Financial assistance: is available for those families in need. Please reach out directly to James Anderson for more information or to request assistance.

PGBL Divisions:

●       Instructional for Grades 1 & 2: Sessions are held on Saturday mornings at PCIS

●       Junior Division for Grades 3 & 4: Games played on Friday evenings at West

●       Intermediate Division for Grades 5 & 6: Games played on Tuesday evenings at PCIS

●       Senior Division for Grades 7 & 8: Games played on Friday evenings at PCIS


Volunteering: We have a need for volunteer coaches at all levels. Please reach out if you are interested. There is a section in the registration process to sign up for volunteer positions.


The 1st annual Hoops with Heart Tournament, November 10-12

Open to Boys and Girls Teams, Grades 4-8 (non-AAU)

All proceeds will benefit the Claire Rose Zisserson Teammate Scholarship Fund.,
